Things You Love To Do
Show off your superior management chops at each location in your portfolio by ensuring day-to-day operations are managed in accordance with Company and City policies, all locations are staffed with superior personnel, and all opening and closing procedures are performed properly. This includes managing Big Events and Valet services.
Deliver top-notch customer service, ensuring each location meets or exceeds client expectations consistently. Reviewing internal audit scores, supporting action plans, performing site visits and conducting operational review meetings as needed to meet these customer service goals.
Create and coach great teams of engaged employees to ensure they consistently perform at a high level. Organize and lead weekly meetings to promote open dialogue among the team about policy and procedures, operational challenges and solutions, and preparing for weekly events.
Work with HR on recruiting, discipline matters, terminations, and performance reviews. Also assist with training and development programs for new hires and refresher courses for current employees.
You enjoy working with senior management and Clients to ensure revenues are maximized and to help land new Business opportunities. This includes working with the Business Development resource to find new revenue streams, write RFP’s, present proposals and help close deals.
Budgeting, analytics and reporting are all in your wheelhouse, whether you are creating budgets, reviewing management reports, P&L sheets or client statements you love to ensure actual financial results meet both corporate and Client budgeted expectations. You will also work with managers to review actual versus forecast variances in the budget.
You run a tight ship across all locations to ensure they operate in accordance with company policy including revenue control, equipment maintenance, safety checks, accurate signage and world-class customer service. This includes monitoring current and accurate listing of facility rates and making sure any changes comply with the municipal regulations that govern commercial parking in the city.
Setting Key Performance Indicators for the team and taking action when KPI’s are not being met. Work with Senior leaders to continually enhance best practices, create new SOP’s and update policies and procedures when needed.
Manage a system of audits to ensure that sound operating practices are being met and upheld. This includes lot audits, service audits (valet) and access card audits. The General Manager must implement a system of tracking to ensure that all field managers are actively taking part in the process.
Weekly meetings with the City’s Maintenance Leaders are essential to ensure that all properties are meeting expectations with regards to appearance and conditions. Also work with Clients to uncover opportunities for improvement in operational and financial matters. At year-end, you will conduct meetings with Clients to provide and discuss annual financial reports.
Leverage your vast knowledge of parking technologies and innovative processes to help transform facilities into dynamic and efficient parking operations that continually enhance the customer experience. Keep up to date on new technologies to maximize revenues, stay ahead of the competition, and impress Clients with our technical prowess.
Reviews incident claims, conduct investigations, complete necessary forms and work with senior management to resolve incidents with minimal monetary impact or losses.
Who You Are
A passionate Ambassador of Operational Excellence who represents the company among Clients, customers, potential partners and the general public according the company’s guiding principles of integrity, world-class customer service and superior parking operations.
You are always on top of shifting priorities and dynamic changes in daily Operations. This includes maintaining accurate calendars and staying aware of all Special Events, especially those requiring Valet services. Where Valet is required, you excel at reviewing proposals, pricing terms, insurance requirements, reports, and billing information.
The consummate team member willing to pitch in where needed, such as assisting with evening or weekend inspections of facilities and responding to customer service and Client issues on a timely basis.
A lover of collaboration who likes to assist with drafting RFP’s, attend potential client presentations as part of a bid process, or perform other special projects as directed by senior management.
As a mentor, you will help nurture future leaders by training and educating staff in the office and out in the field to help them develop their careers.
You go the extra mile and participate in local organizations and events to maintain an awareness of the community and potential growth opportunities for the Company. This includes maintaining a working data base of competitor locations, pricing structures, occupancy levels and other strategically critical data for the company to outperform competitors in the marketplace.
5-10 Years experience, with Parking experience preferred.
Works under the general supervision of the District Manager and Director of Operations as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Organized person with strong negotiation, analytical, organizational and creative skills.
High level of demonstrated ethical behavior as well as persistence and determination to see actions through to completion.
Proven ability to forge strong working relationships with clients, staff, community representatives and other stakeholders.
Experience developing and implementing a strategic plan.
Follow and promote all rules and general guidelines of the Company.
Participate in company-wide meetings, perform special projects when required and participate in opportunities to advance professional and personal development and growth.
Must have a good practical and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications
Exceptional interpersonal communication, presentation and writing abilities.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
Team player with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Must conform to the Company’s uniform dress requirements.
Occasional Travel required for company meetings or training.
