The General Manager is responsible for the administration and operation of the parking facilities at the OKC airport, while addressing the impact to parking of large-scale construction projects.
Manage the planning and workflow of a large-scale airport parking operation, including supervisors, cashiers, and administrative staff.
Plan, organize, direct and control the work required for all the contractor’s responsibilities: administrative, supervisory, cashier, and subcontractors.
Abide by and ensure adherence to established policies, rules, procedures and regulations of the Port Authority. Communicate with Port Authority Facility Manager and Audit Manager on routine management, financial management, and non-routine events.
Communicate effectively with police to handle problems of traffic congestion, unauthorized vehicles, and whatever may effect security and property of the parking facilities.
Hire, train, and motivate staff
Adhere to parameters established within the client contract facility management, including purchasing, administration, and operations.
Reporting and tracking of non-routine events, i.e. theft, vandalism, lot closures, etc.
Analyze, monitor, and submit recommendations to improve facility management, including those related to Port Authority where action is required.
Inspect all shifts for work performance in fulfilling service standards and contractual obligations. Serve as the Regional Contract Manager in his/her absence.
College degree preferred
Large airport parking experience required
Understand airport parking technology as it relates to airport facility operations
5+ years related experience, large airport background preferred
3+ years management, budgeting, expense control, and scheduling
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
